The COBB XLE BPV has been designed to be a compact and lightweight blow off valve that is capable of holding high boost pressures without leaking. This design allows for very fast venting of boost when activated, and the compact sizing of this blow off valve allows to fit in the confines of a tight engine bay. The XLE blow off valve is able to vent pressurized air more quickly than other bypass valves due to several elements. Because the blow off valve is compact, that means lightweight components are employed to have less inertia under use which allows the blow off valve to respond faster than larger and heavier blow off valves.

Additionally, the shapes of the exhaust port and piston face will evacuate air as quickly as possible. The piston has been hard anodized, and uses a Teflon coating that promotes low friection, which will reduce wear, and reduces maintenance.

Please note that this valve is designed to be used with the COBB 715500 Front Mount Intercooler Kit, however it can be used with other configurations that call for a 1" bypass valve inlet.
